Field of Honor

We place 1776 flags in Castaways Park, Newport Beach every year to honor the men and women who have served this country. From Armed Forces Day through Memorial Day, Castaways Park will be transformed into a Field of Honor where large American Flags will display the red, white, and blue will line the park’s pathways, and patriotic art and other displays will be intermixed among the flags.

Ribbons will adorn the flags, honoring military servicemembers, both living and deceased, active and inactive, as well as our police, firefighters, and other first responders. 

Flags at the Field of Honor can be dedicated in honor of those who protect us. You are invited to dedicate one or more flags which will be adorned with the name of your honoree and other information and photos if available.   A flag can be dedicated for only $50 per honoree.

Proceeds from flag dedications and donations are used to assist their servicemembers and their families and other Club Americanism projects and youth charities in the communities we serve.
